The 15^th edition of Maruti Suzuki Desert Strom’s first day culminated in Bikaner. The first leg, traversing through the sandy dunes in the scorching sun from Hanumangarh to Bikaner crossing Hardaswali and Arjansar, the participants covered the total distance of 250km.

The person leading the rally in the extreme category was Manali’s Suresh Rana from Team Maruti. He completed the first leg along with his navigator Ashwin Naik in his Grand Vitara.

After Suresh was Gaurav Chiripal and his navigator Srikanth Gowda who stood second and with navigator Shivaprakash, was Sanjay Agarwal who finished third.

C.S. Santosh completed the leg first in the Moto category. He was followed by Tanveer Abdul Wahid who stood second and R Nataraj who achieved the third position.
