DAY 1 - Welcome to Hampi

 

We arrive in Hospet by 11 am. Hop into Auto-Rickshaw, get ready we are heading to Hampi. A cozy local Homestay is arranged for you . Our day start with sightseeing the ancient ruins in and around Hampi town in a auto rickshaw. visiting famous majestic Vithhal Temple, Stone Chariot, Queen’s palace, Durga Temple. Spend your evening at Mantanga Hill and Tungabhadra River.

DAY 2 - Hampi to Badami (2.5 hours)

 

Early morning we will be visiting Badami caves (approx 130 kms) stopping en route to visit a World Heritage Site - Pattadakal - a complex of 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples in northern Karnataka (India).There are 10 major temples in Pattadakal, all dedicated to Lord Shiva. Whilst Aihole, which is popularly known as the "Cradle of Indian Architecture". Aihole is a historical town situated on the banks of Malaprabha River and Finally Badami, magnificently situated in a Located in a valley of rugged red sandstone, surrounding the Agastya Lake, Badami famous for is large rock cut caves.

Late evening we head back to Hampi

DAY 3 - More Hampi

 

Morning we head to other side of the river via road to Anegundi (Ganagawati) previously called Kishkindha . Anegundi or Anegondi, is a place of historical and mythological importance which takes you back to the days of the Ramayana pre-historic rock Art and Vijaynagara era monument in ruins. Spend your day sightseeing. Early evening we visit historic Pampa Sarovar followed by a small hike (30 min uphill) to Anjaneya Hill a birth place of Lord Hanuman and houses a very beautiful Hanuman Temple on top of the hill, also known as Monkey Temple. We end our day with heavenly sunset. Evening a cozy Home-stay near paddy farm is waiting for you.

DAY 4 - Hampi to Anegundi – Gangawati

 

Lazy Morning . Post checkout you have free time to shop and enjoy near by attraction after lunch we head back to hospet to board a bus back to Mumbai.
