To boost tourism, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh has decided to provide best facilitates to the visitors of the Shali Tibba Temple in Shimla. He said that by linking the road, steps will be taken to popularize the Bheema Kali temple overlooking the state capital.
As stated in the public meeting in his home constituency Shimla rural, he said that to facilitate the pilgrims and tourists, apart from constructing a rest house at Khatnol, a road will also be constructed up to the temple in Shali Tibba or peak.
One has to climb uphill about six km to reach Shali Tibba, as Khatnol is located some 40 km from Shimla. For this, the CM said that the possibilities would also be explored for developing a ropeway to the temple located at an altitude of 2,867 metre.
Mr. Singh said that for past four years, the assembly segment has witnessed unprecedented development. To improve the economy, he also urged the locals to adopt off-season vegetable production on a large scale
