About the Tour :
Travellers brings you cycling ride to one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls near Mumbai – The Ashoka waterfall at Vihigaon. It is a ride of overall 35 kms return starting from Kasara station and offers a great cycling pleasure while you cycle over the scenic countryside road, turns and bends which will ultimately take you to Vihi waterfall and blue-green backwater of Vaitarna river.
ITINERARY
Catch early morning train from CST (or your nearest railway station) which will be reaching at Kasara at 7.30 am. Meet our leaders at station. Have a quick ice-breaking session where we will have introduction and briefing session about the gears, information about route and riding formations. Throw some shout n slogans in air and start the cycling ride !
After we start our ride from Kasara station, we shall head towards the Kasara Ghat. En-route breakfast. We will just cover a short patch of ghat and will take exit towards the Jawhar road, which will take us to the beautiful Vihi waterfall. Its approx 12 kms ride till we reach Vihi. Upon reaching enjoy in waterfall, take some cool photographs and set out for delicious lunch prepared by local villagers of Vihigaon.
Post lunch we have an optional cycling stretch of about 10 kms return, which takes you through sharp bends and hillocks towards scenic Vaitarna dam backwater and surrounding forest patches. Enjoy this short ride and return to Vihigaon. Now it’s time for some group fun and games!! Have a cup of tea, gear up and make your move for Kasara Station . Reach back Kasara safely and see off each other !
