Make sure social websites present your content in the best possible way, no matter how your webpage is shared — from sharing buttons on the webpage, browser add-ons and extensions, or URLs pasted directly on social websites.

WPSSO Social Sharing Buttons (WPSSO SSB) works in conjunction with the WordPress Social Sharing Optimization plugin, extending its features with additional settings pages, tabs, and options for social sharing buttons. WPSSO SSB is fast, efficient, and — using WPSSO as its framework — provides accurate information to social websites about your webpage content.

You can download the Free version of WPSSO SSB on WordPress.org and purchase Pro license(s) here.

= Quick List of Features = **Free / Basic Version** WPSSO SSB allows you to include a selection of social sharing buttons in multiple locations: * Above and/or below your content and/or excerpt text. * On admin editing pages, including media, product pages, and custom post types. * In a WordPress sharing widget. * In a CSS / javascript button sidebar. * From a shortcode within your content and/or excerpt. * From a function in your theme's template(s). Each of these social sharing buttons can be enabled, configured, and styled individually: * Buffer * Facebook (Like, Send, and Share) * Google+ * LinkedIn * ManageWP * Pinterest * Reddit * StumbleUpon * Tumblr (Links, Quotes, Images, Videos) * Twitter (Summary, Large Image Summary, Photo, Gallery, Player and Product Cards) The Facebook, Google+ and Twitter sharing buttons also support *multiple default languages*, and WPSSO SSB can also include a number of ***hashtags***, from WordPress and/or NextGEN Gallery tag names, in Tweet texts and other social captions. **Pro / Power-User Version** The [WPSSO SSB Pro version](http://surniaulula.com/extend/plugins/wpsso-ssb/) includes a number of additional options and features: * No Risk 30 Day Refund Policy * File caching for social sharing button images and JavaScript, maximizing performance on VPS and dedicated hardware hosting platforms. * A stylesheets editor for each social sharing button locations (content, excerpt, shortcode, widget, etc.). * Dynamic button language switching based on the current WordPress locale. * URL shortening with Bitly or Google for URLs in Tweet texts. * Ability to include / exclude sharing buttons by post type. * Selection of preset button options by location (content, excerpt, shortcode, widget, etc.). * Additional sharing button locations and stylesheets for supported addons: * [bbPress](http://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/) single pages. * [BuddyPress](http://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/) activity entries.

WordPress Social Sharing Optimization (WPSSO) plugin (version 2.6.3 and up) is required to use the WPSSO SSB extension.

You can use the Free version of WPSSO SSB with either WPSSO Free or Pro, but the WPSSO SSB Pro version requires the use of WPSSO Pro (i.e. you must purchase WPSSO Pro as well).

= Proven Performance = WPSSO and WPSSO SSB are *fast and coded for performance*, making full use of all available caching techniques (persistent / non-persistent object and disk caching).

How Fast is WPSSO SSB?

Plugins that add social sharing buttons should be fairly light and fast — they generally don't need to fetch much information about a page, like an SEO / SSO plugin does. Here are a few example metrics from the P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) plugin, using WP Test Data, and several popular social sharing plugins (along with the WordPress Core and Twenty Fourteen theme for reference). The plugins were configured to include the Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest sharing buttons at the bottom of single posts and pages.

Benchmarks were executed on dedicated hardware, using an APC opcode/object cache, WordPress v3.9.1, and P3 v1.5.1 configured with opcode optimization enabled (improves accuracy).
