Day 1 : Rishikesh--Govindghat - Road 276 Km
Day 2 : GovindGhat --Ghangria - Trek 13 km
Day 3 : Ghangria--Valley of flowers--Ghangria - Trek 10km
Day 4 : Ghangria--Hemkund Sahib--Ghangria - Trek 9km
Day 5 : Ghangria--Govindghat - Trek 13km
Day 6 : Govindghat- Rishikesh - Road 276 Km
Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Rishikesh—Govindghat (276km, 10-12 hrs) : We board cabs from the holy town of Rishikesh early in the morning and move toward Govindghat (6000 feet) the roadhead for this trek, the journey takes around 10-12 hours, Meal plan: Welcome drink and dinner. Overnight stay in Hotel
Day 02 : Govindghat—Ghanghria (13 km, 5-6 hrs) : We start early in the morning and after crossing the Alaknanda Bridge, we hike for around 6 hours to reach the village of Ghanghria, and the whole hike today would be alongside a river. Overnight stay in tents or homestay and all meals would be included from today.
Day 03 : Ghangria to Valley of Flowers and back to Ghanghria (10 Km,5-6hrs) : Ghanghria to the valley is relatively flat walk and the total distance covered is around 10 km. be sure to start early in the morning so that maximum time can be spent inside the valley
Day 04 : Ghangria to Hemkund Sahib and back(6kms, 4-5 hrs) : Today we have a steep walk to the lake of Hemkund sahib and the altitude gain is also rapid. We start early in the morning to stay away from bad weather, it takes 3-4 hours to reach the temple, however there is a generous helping of tea at the Gurudwara to take all your tiredness away. We return back to Ghangria for the evening
Day 05 : Ghangria to GovindGhat (13kms, 4-5hrs) : We trace back our route of the first day to reach Govindghat by afternoon, you can spend the rest of the day giving rest to the tired body and exploring the small town. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 06 : Govindghat to Rishikesh (276 km, 10-12hrs) : Board the cab early morning to reach Rishikesh by evening, trip ends after departure. Meal Plan: Breakfast
