Anthargange one of heritageous location in kolar district in Karnataka state. The meaning of Anthargange is an inner stream. this place has series of many rock formations which admits many tourists for the adventure and spiritualism and the rocky mountains has many natural caves surrounded by a dense forest comprising of some wildlife in it.
The altitude of the hilly terrain is 1712 meters from sea level. At the top of such altitude you can find as many as 7 small villages on the peak with plenty of water to offer for civilization present there. Anthargange stream is said to be originated from the boulders and it is worshiped as sacred waters by offering pooja to lord Vishnu in form of Srinivasa.
The main thing that is highlighted in Anthargange is the natural caves formed by the volcanic rocks, caves are naturally set by many volcanic rocks lying from the ancient days jelled together.Some of the caves are very narrow such that we need to crawl in some places to explore them, exploration of the caves brings the adventure in it for all enthusiasts who need to explore or discover the nature’s beauty.
These rocky mountain range is covered by the dense forest, exploring them is a worth which brings more thrill for travellers who wants to explore them, it’s a worth exploration as there is a slim chance of spotting some wildlife in the forest. The trek of Anthargange hills is on higher moderate range hike.
Anthargange is adventure paradise due its rocky hills as it gives pleasure for performing activities like rock-climbing and rappelling alongside exploring the caves. Even the visitors can explore some of the ancient temples and their architecture in the foothills of Anthargange.
