Day 01 : Delhi - Bagdogra- Darjeeling (2130m/6988ft) 65kms - 3/4hrs

A charming 4-hour journey, through Darjeeling tea plantations and tiny villages takes us to Darjeeling. Built on top of a ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalaya and is a popular destination for Westerners and Bengalis alike.

Day 02 : Visit Darjeeling (2130m/6988ft)

We could take an early trip to Tiger Hill to see the sunrise. Afterwards we visit the famous Ghoom monastery that enshrines an image of the Maitreya Buddha (the coming Buddha). Later on we can visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and tea plantations.

Day 03 : Darjeeling - Yuksam (1760m/5774ft)127kms-5/6 hrs

Drive From Darjeeling to Yuksum Via Jorethang, En route, we visit the Pemayangtse monastery, perched at 2800m, and one of the oldest and most impressive gompas in Sikkim.

Day 04 : Yuksam - Tsoska (3030m/9940ft)14kms- 5/6 hrs

The trail leads up the Rathong valley, through thick, semi-tropical forests. Afterwards a steep climb takes us to the tiny Tibetan village of Tsoska. The landscape has now changed into pine, rhododendron and magnolia forests. We get excellent views of the entire Himalayan range and Kanchenjunga.

Day 05 : Tshoka - Dzongri (4020m/13188ft) 11kms -5/6hrs

A steep trail zigzags up through temperate forest and large clusters of rhododendrons, to the vast clearing of Phedang. During April and May, the spectacle is gorgeous, as the land becomes a mass of flowers (400 species have been listed so far). After 300m, we follow the ridge to Dzongri, a pasture area for Yuksam yaks from April to October.

Day 06 : Acclimatising in Dzongri(4020m)

Depending on the fitness of the group, we could head northwest to the Dzongri, where the panorama is stunning, over the Rathong glacier and further out towards the summits on the border with Nepal. Or we could also organize a shorter ascent towards the Dzongri Peak (4320m) and enjoy a great view of Kanchenjunga (8586m), the third highest summit in the world.

Day 07 : Dzongri - Thangshing (3930m/12893ft)7kms - 4/5hrs

We descend through rhododendron forest towards the Glacial Prek river. We establish our campsite on the grassy pastures of Thangshing. The southern ridge of Kanchenjunga and the Onglakhing glacier are visible directly ahead and there are close-up views of Pandim.

Day 08 : Thangsing - Lamune (4173 mts /13693 ft) 7 kms / 3-4 hrs

The trail from Thangsing climbs gently north and follows a stream and alpine meadows, Today’s trek is a gradual ascend walking through one of the most picturesque locale during this trek to reach to the camp site for the night Lamune. The walk is through a glade between mighty mountains. As the trek today is short, one can explore the picturesque surroundings in the afternoon or rest for to reserve your energy to coup with the long day tomorrow .Over Night in Lamune.

Day 09 : Lamune - Goecha La (4940 mts / 16200 ft)- Thangsing (3800 mts / 12464)12kms / 7-8hrs

An early start for the hike up to the Goecha La (4,940m/16,200ft) and back. The walk takes about 08 hours roundtrip and it is challenging and strenuous, depending on the weather; the terrain is also more challenging than the previous days on trek. (Those who do not wish to go to Goecha La can stay at the lunch site and relax, or walk to the viewing point, which is less then two-hour hike. The viewpoint provides great views of Kanchenjunga and the surrounding peaks. Those who are up for it, are strongly encouraged to undertake the hike up to the Goecha La, it’s the finest possible view of the Kanchenjunga massif. Returning down the valley, there will be a welcome meal and a short rest before setting off to walk gently downhill for 1½ to 2 hours, to reach Thangsing. Overnight in Thangsing.

Day 10 : Thangshing - Lam Pokhari (4230m/13877ft) 5/6hrs

After a steep descent, we climb through alpine areas and pass by tiny lakes.

Day 11 : Lam Pokhari - Kasturi La (4500m) - Kasturi Odar (3500m/11482ft) 5/6 hrs

In the morning after breakfast we will start our trek towards, A steep ascent leads to the pass, from where we descend through a forest. In the late afternoon reach at Kasturi Odar. In the night have your dinner. Overnight at Camps.

Day 12 : Kasturi Odar - Labdang (2000m/6561ft) 5/6 hrs

Today we will walk in the half-light of the undergrowth, through a dense forest, where lianas tangle and moss and orchids hide tree trunks. In the later afternoon arrive at Labdang. In the night have your dinner. Overnight at camps.

Day 13 : Labdang - Tashiding (1740m/5708ft) 5/6 hrs

An easy walk, Since atmosphere becomes more humid and heavier as we descend.

Day 14 : Tashiding - Darjeeling (118kms Drive 4/5hrs)

After breakfast drive to Darjeeling. Evening free to explore the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra

In the morning transfer to Bagdogra airport and from here catch a flight for onward destination.
