Itinerary
Day1. Rishikesh - Musoorie – Devalsari
We will start early in order to reach a place called Thature, where the initiating point for Nag Tibba trek is situated. On our way to Thature, we will pass through the hill station of Mussorie, which has an altitude of 2005 m and is fondly called the Queen of the Hill. We will trek for 2 hours from Thature in order to reach Devalsari, where overnight stay and food will be arranged.
Day2 . Devalsari - Nag Tibba Base (Trek 12km)
Once all the participants are done with breakfast, we all will head towards Nag Tibba base camp by taking a walk of about 12 Km, passing amidst the thick cover of forest. The participants can easily locate the Rhododendron trees in these forests. The overnight stay is arranged in the tents.
Day3 . Nag Tibba and around
On Day 3, the participants need to wake up very early and start trekking for a distance of about 3 Km in order to reach Nag Tibba which is at an altitude of 3048m in order to see the first rays of the sun and take a glimpse of the panoramic Himalayan ranges. After taking the view of the sunrise, the participants need to come back to the base camp and take their breakfast. The later part of the day is given to the participants for exploring the region. The overnight stay will take place in the tents arranged in the base camp only.
Day4 . Nag Tibba - Pantwari (10km) - Kempty waterfall –Rishikesh
After the breakfast is done, the participants are required to start trekking towards Pantwari, which is situated at a distance of 10 km from the base camp. At Pantwari, we have made arrangements for jeeps which will take the participants for the visit to Mussorie. The participants can enjoy themselves in the famous Kempty waterfall and click some of the beautiful and memorable pictures. Afterwards, the participants will be driven back to Rishikesh. The trip that started 4 days back will be closed here at Rishikesh. However, the memories this trekking expedition will give will stay with the participants for the lifetime.
