With the winter lot of wetland birds arrive around Pune. Ujani dam backwaters is considered as one of the best wetlands.The prominent birds observed in this trip are Flamingo, Bar headed geese, Ruddy shell ducks, Pintail Ducks, Little Grebe, Reef Egret, Grey Heron, Painted Storks etc.
