Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi – Haridwar – Govind Ghat
This day includes travelling to Govind Ghat from Delhi via Haridwar. Haridwar can be reached by a bus or train. From Haridwar a cab or a tempo traveller can be taken to reach Govind Ghat.It will take 5-6 hours to reach Haridwar from Delhi and further 12 hours from Haridwar to Govind Ghat covering 300km.
Day 02 : Govind Ghat – Ghangaria (Trek)
After having breakfast in the morning, trek towards Ghangaria which is around 11km from Govind Ghat with a gradual ascend on a well-defined trail. It will take 5-6 hours to reach Ghangaria.
Day 03 : Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria (Trek)
Start towards Valley of Flowers in the early morning at around 7, gates to the park opens at 7:30 am. This day includes walking for around 6 hours inside the National Park covering 10-12 km and back to Ghangaria.
Day 04 : Ghangaria – Govind Ghat (Trek)
In the morning start towards Govind Ghat which will again take 4-5 hours to reach the base camp Govind Ghat.
Day 05 : Govind Ghat – Haridwar – Delhi
This is the final day of the trek. In the morning, start heading towards Haridwar in a cab or tempo traveller which will take 12 hours (300km). From Haridwar, take a bus or a train to reach Delhi.
