LOCATION
The camp is located in an island in head head river of Pampar near Marayur 35km north of Munnar .The location is covered by wooded riparian forest.
PAMPAR RIVER
Pampar is one among three rivers flowing to east in Kerala. It is originating in Anamudi hills near Thalayar. It has 29 kms course in Kerala before crossing into Tamil Nadu.
THE CAMP
The camp ground is supervised by camp-in charge. It is equipped with tents, proper toilet, kitchen , campfire and dining area, riverside wallkway, birding area etc.
TREKKING OPTIONS
The camp offer one hour family strolling to long distance hillside walks , birdwatching and wildlife watching hikes, village hikes , spice farm hikes, archaeological site hike etc
CAMP ENVIRONMENT
The camp is surrounded by riparian primary and secondary forest, spice farms etc. The camp is rich in birds and some wildlife life barking deer, spotted deer, gaur etc.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Dinner, breakfast, tea, snacks and lunch is included in full package. The menu is fixed veg. and non veg. dishes. BBQ cost extra. Water is also available.
CHECK IN CHECK OUT TIME
The usual check in check in time for one night two days programme is 1pm after lunch. The check out time of the trekking is between 3-4 pm. It can customize on tyime of arrival.
CAMPFIRE
Campfire is included in the package. It will be between 7.30 pm and 10pm in common area. No music or loud sound is allowed in the camp. No campfire available in case of rain.
