One of the most picturesque and pretty destination, Kunjapuri is set on the peaks of Himalayan Shivalik range.
Offering the most majestic and striking sights of sunrise and sunset while rising high in sky, it makes among the best locations for paragliding.
You can have glance of the peaks of Banderpunch, Sawrga Rohini, Chaukhamba and Gangotri while paragliding here.
With a breath taking view of the Himalayas from all sides, Kunjapuri is an ideal location for paragliding.
The take-off for gliders here is either on the last bend of the road before you reach the Kunjapuri temple, or a short 200m walk down to the left on a small hill.
The landing is up river of Lakshman Jula in Rishikesh on a sand bank next to the Ganges River. It is at about 6 km away from the take-off point.
