Zanskar range houses some of the world’s most dangerous and daunting trails with numerous passes, mountain ranges, valleys and rugged terrains. Any trail you pick can take you anything from 3 to 20 days to cover. From high passes in the north of Lamayuru to Valley of Kashmir in the west and Lahaul valley in south, Zanskar is a whole package that would give the explorers all that adventure they have been craving for. This trek would extract the best out of you and would leave you with an enchanting memory of a lifetime.

 

Day 01 –  : Arrival at Srinagar
 

Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to the hotel. Evening enjoy Shikara Ride at Dal Lake. Overnight at Srinagar (Hotel)

 

Day 02 –  : Srinagar – Kargil
 

Post breakfast check out and proceed to Kargil via Zojila pass with enroute stopovers at Sonamarg & Drass ( War Memorial). Overnight at Kargil.

 

Day 03 –  : Kargil – Rangdum
 

Check out, proceed to Rangdum (138 km ) en route enjoy the natural beauty along the way to villages Sankoo, Panikar & Parkachik with stopover at the rock carved statue of Future Buddha (Maitrey) at Kartse Khar (Royal Palace) in Rangdum, Overnight at Rangdum (Camp Site).

 

Day 04 –  : Rangdum – Padum
 

Post breakfast check out and proceed to Padum (74 Kms), en route visit the famous Rangdum Gompa, avid photographers would enjoy clicking photographs of Drang Drung glacier, lakes around Penzila & wildlife including Marmots on the way before joining up with Stod river, Overnight at (Padum).

 

Day 05 – : Padum
 

Post breakfast, proceed for a full day local sight seeing of Zanskar Valley. Visit the monasteries at Sani,Stongdey & Karsha ( overlooking the Padum village) & the famous Zangla fort. Overnight at Padum.

 

Day 07 – : Padum – Kargil
 

Post breakfast start return journey towards Kargil. Evening leisure time at Kargil. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 08 –  : Kargil – Srinagar
 

Post breakfast start return journey towards Srinagar. Overnight at Hotel

 

Day 09 –  : Srinagar sight-seeing 
 

Post breakfast…head out for full day local sight seeing, visit the famous Nishad, Shalimar Garden & Chashma Shahi followed by Pari Mahal, post lunch visit the famous Shankarcharya Temple & Hazratbal mosque. Overnight at Srinagar

 

Day 10 –  : Fly Back to Mumbai 
 

Post breakfast check out and transfer to the Airport.
