Tamhini Ghat is a mountain pass in sahyadri range which connects Mulshi (Pune District) to Kolad (Raigad district)in short this ghat connect Desh and Konkan. Tamhini ghat is really popular for its scenic beauty comprising of mountain ranges, dense forest, beautiful waterfalls in monsoon and amazing landscapes. The length of the ghat is just 15 kms but its a worth riding route in monsoon and this is the best time to visit Tamhini ghat. This is one of the offbeat road in sahyadries which is really which can be covered in one day from Mumbai and Pune .




Early morning meeting at Kalamboli McDonald’s (Timing 6.00am). Introduction & Instruction session. Start riding towards Tamhini Ghat via NG17. Breakfast at Kolad. Post breakfast; enjoy the breathtaking ride to Tamhini Ghat. Lunch en-route. Further; start riding towards Lonavala. En-route; visit the beauty of Mulshi Dam. After evening refreshment; start riding back towards Mumbai via Lonavala. Ride ends at Panvel.

Rules & Regulations:


  • Riding order: Two by Two Formation. Single File Leader ahead formation.
  • Road Rules to be decided by group leaders.
  • 4-5 riders per leader
  • No competition between riders or other vehicles…stay focused on road…
  • No breaking away from the pack
  • Keeping to time schedules
  • No wrong side riding or overtaking
  • No alcohol on Rides
