Pindari Glacier trek is an easy trek in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. This trek offers well-defined trails with only one minor pass crossing en route to the Pindari Glacier. The views from the pass– the Dhakri Khal (2830m) – are particularly impressive and include the many snow-capped peaks that form the southern rim of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The views from above the Pindari Glacier are also striking, particularly for the first-time trekker. The Pindari Glacier is the source of the Pindar River which meets with the Alaknanda River at Karnaprayag. Pindari Glacier trek is situated at an altitude of 3353 Metres which makes it an easy glacier trek in comparison to other glacier treks.
The best time for this trek are the Pre Monsoon Season: May to June and the Post Monsoon: Mid August to October
