Ramanagara Night Trekking

One of the closest destinations near to Bangalore also called Mecca for Rock Climbing and is one of the first sought places for Rock Climbing in South India and this place is around 50 kilometers on Bangalore Mysore Highway you can find Ramnagara, popularly known for Silk Production and called as Silk City. This place is also famous for the huge mountain ranges and boulders and granites. Apart from this the famous Sholey Movie was shot in the backgrounds of Ramgiri and today called as Ramdevara Betta or Sholey Hills. The rocky terrain of Ramnagara on one side is surrounded by the reserve forest ranging up to Magadi and forest near Ramgiri / RamdevaraBetta is declared as wildlife sanctuary for conservation of Asian Vultures. Apart from Vultures most common sighting wildlife are the Indian Bears, rare sight of Leopards and plenty of birds and many more.

The Night Trek is an adventure activity by undergoing it we discover the nightlife of the surrounding place or destination, and to experience the nature very closely in the pitch dark background and look at the view of the constellations and camping in the outdoors with setup of Bonfire to overcome the riseness of cold by lilting up the fire and getting up early to view the glowing orange ball raising up in to the sky in the backgrounds of rocky terrains and greenery of the forest.

We conduct Night trekking and also Camping in Ramnagara, our outings stats with trekking at 12:00 Am, we start trek from the base camp and head into the reserve forests of Ramgiri, and move towards the peak where the climbing level is very moderate and from the peak you can see the panoramic view of the city with the Street lights glowing on one side and on the other side is the forest view with dark background.

We take care all equipments required for night treks and soon as we reach the peak we distribute the sleeping bags for the clients and brief about the view points from the peak and start off the bonfire activity and post completion of that they can rest themselves in sleeping bags and wake up at 5:45 to view the sunrise on the backgrounds of the neighbouring mountain peaks and then trek back and conclude with an activity (adventure/ Team games) and Breakfast served at camp site.
