This is a tame and balanced trek of about 6 kms (one side) till rappelling point as the hill is high and precipitous. The trek begins from Papagni temple at the Kalwara village foothills. The fortress of the Kalwarbetta is in complete sight around the walk uphill. This fantastic and steep trek through a maze of the dense shrub is very intriguing for the hardcore adventure lovers.

There are 2 caves , one begins from the base and according to the locals, it leads to the temple at the peak. The other one is somewhere in the midway which is around 30 ft. only.
