1. Anthargange Night Trek
Anthargange is situated 68 Kilometers from the city and consists of one of the greatest terrains for trekking activities. This three hour trek has mythological reference to the Mahabharata. It is situated in Pandavapura village in Mandya district. 3. Skandagiri Trekking
Skandagiri, a beautiful hill situated around 70 Kilometers away from Bangalore city is located on NH-7 off the Bellary road. It is situated at an altitude of 1400 meters near the Nandi hills and chikkaballapura. A trekker’s paradise, this place is ideal for trekking at nights, camping and bird watching. The top of the hill houses the ruins of a fort built by Tipu Sultan and the view from the top offers panoramic views of the valley below its lush vegetations.
4. Ramanagaram Trek
Ramanagaram is situated in a valley surrounded by hillocks and rocks and is situated 48 kilometers from Bangalore. The hills are perfect for rock climbing, trekking and rappelling. The Ramdevara Betta is the most famous of the lot simply because it houses two temples (Lord Shiva and Lord Rama), a small lake and a scintillating view and is also a favorite among pilgrims. The steep climb over the rock formations offers adrenaline pumping adventure.
